On redesigning this site
This site has been a personal page โ my name, a photo, a bio, some links โ for most of its life. It started on locher.at sometime around 2014 and stayed more or โฆ
Customer Success at WireMock, into everything developer-tooling related. Off-hours: hiking ๐ฅพ, sailing โต and skiing ๐ฟ. Always up for a coffee. โ
Currently in Geneva, Switzerland. Working for a US-based company, mostly on European time.
What I do when I'm not in a Zoom: long walks above the tree line, small boats on alpine lakes, and the kind of skiing that involves more poles than chairs.

Occasional notes, mostly about devtools, sometimes about the hills. I aim for once a month and miss often.
A truncated CV, weighted toward the things I'd actually want to talk about over coffee.
Helping engineering teams adopt API mocking and service virtualization. The kind of work where you're part consultant, part advocate, and occasionally part therapist.
Five months helping product and engineering teams get real value out of their analytics. PostHog moves fast; so did this chapter.
A year off the calendar. Hiked a lot, sailed a little, and figured out what I actually want to do next. Highly recommended.
Built and ran CS & support for a GraphQL CDN from early-stage through growth. Three years of onboarding platform teams, writing docs at 11pm, and caring probably too much about p99 latency.
I'm slow on most platforms and fast on email. Both have their merits.
If you’re in Geneva, or anywhere a train can plausibly reach in a Saturday, send a note โ marko@locher.at โ and let’s grab a coffee.
